BEETROOT IDLI | बच्चों के टिफ़िन लिए बनाएं स्वस्थ चुकंदर इडली | CHUKANDAR KI IDLI

Healthy and easy beetroot idlies which looks so colourful. Beetroot has natural healthy ingredient & idli being steamed make it healthy. This is a great recipe to put in your kids lunch box.

INGREDIENTS – FOR 12 IDLI’S

Beetroot (चुकंदर) – ½ Pc
Salt (नमक) – 1 TSP
Black Pepper Powder (काली मिर्च का पाउडर) – ½ TSP (you can skip it also)
Idli Batter (इडली का बैटर) – 2 Cup (recipe Posted)
Refined Oil (रिफाइंड तेल) – 1 TSP (for greasing idli mould)
Water (पानी) – As required (for steaming idli)

RECIPE
Take Beetroot & peel it
Wash it
Take the grinder jar
Cut beetroot in small pieces
Grind it & make a fine paste (if needed add little water for grinding)
In a mixing bowl add idli batter & beetroot puree
Mix it (wow look at the nice pink colour)
Now add Salt & Black Pepper Powder
Mix it well
For better colour keep better aside for 5 minutes
Now take idli stand & grease the mould with oil
Fill the idli batter in each mould
In a pan or steamer add water & boil it
Put idli stand in it & cover it with lid
Put gas in medium flame
Let it cook for 8 to 10 minutes
Check it if it’s done
Take out the stand
Let it cool for 2 minutes
HEALTHY BEETROOT IDLI is READY
You can give it kids for tiffin
