This isn’t a burrito. And it’s not quite lasagna either but for 430 calories and 52 grams of protein you could eat this every day! 🌯🍝
High-protein, crispy, cheesy, and honestly kind of insane.
Drop a name in the comments—because I have no idea what to call it.
Here’s how to make it (making 3 big ones)
Instructions:
1. Start the base:
Finely dice 1 stalk of celery, 1/2 an onion, 1 carrot, and 2 cloves of garlic.
Sauté everything in a nonstick pan over medium heat until soft and fragrant.
2. Add the meat:
Toss in 1 lb of 95/5 ground beef. Season with garlic powder, onion powder, and salt to taste.
Cook until fully browned.
3. Build the sauce:
Stir in 2 servings of tomato paste (~66g) and 1 can of diced tomatoes (~400g).
Fill half the tomato can with water, pour that in too. Bring to a boil, then lower to medium-low and simmer for 20 minutes until thick.
4. Make the white sauce:
Blend together:
– 1 serving low-fat cottage cheese (~110g)
– 1 serving fat-free mozzarella
– 50ml Fairlife fat-free milk
– garlic powder, onion powder, Italian seasoning, and salt
Blend until smooth and creamy.
5. Assemble the wraps:
Grab 3 Mission Carb Balance tortillas.
On each one:
– Spread some white sauce
– Add a layer of meat
– Top with more white sauc
Repeat this layering 3–4 times depending on how stuffed you want it.
Roll it up tightly into a burrito.
6. Air fry part 1:
Top each wrap with 1 serving low-moisture mozzarella (~28g). Air fry at 350°F for 4–5 minutes.
7. Air fry part 2:
Flip the wrap, add another serving of mozzarella, and air fry for another 4–5 minutes until the cheese is golden and seals the whole thing shut.
Macros (per wrap):
Calories: ~430
Protein: ~53g
Now someone please help me name this!
