// I N G R E D I E N T S //
— St. Louis style pork spare ribs
— salt & pepper
— neutral oil
BBQ SAUCE:
— 1/4 cup tomato paste
— 1/4 balsamic vinegar
— 1.5 tbsp maple syrup
— 1 tsp garlic salt
— 1 tsp garlic powder
— 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
— 1 tsp black pepper
Mix all together.
1. Preheat oven to 275F. Pat ribs dry, remove membrane from ribs, brush on oil, season both sides with salt and pepper. Bone side down, bake for an hour.
2. Take out & brush bbq sauce (reserve some for later). Bake for another hour. Take out, brush sauce again, and bake for another hour. Total: 2 hours for this part.
3. Reduce oven temp to 250F, brush all leftover bbq sauce, bake for one last hour (this would be the fourth and last hour).
