🟢 Ingredients
For Modak Dough
½ cup powdered dry coconut (gola)
½ cup roasted cashews
3 big paan leaves
3 tbsp jaggery powder
¼ tsp fennel powder
For Stuffing
½ cup powdered dry coconut (gola)
¼ cup deseeded dates
Pinch of rock salt
For Topping
1 tsp powdered dry coconut (gola)
🟢 Method
1. Modak Dough: Blend all dough ingredients into a moldable mixture. Knead lightly to form a dough.
2. Stuffing: Blend stuffing ingredients into a moldable mixture. Knead lightly.
3. Shape the Modaks: Divide dough into 6 portions. Grease a modak mould, press dough along the sides, leaving space in the center. Add stuffing, seal with more dough if needed, then gently unmould.
Garnish with dry coconut powder. Serve & enjoy! 🌸
