Something healthy, delicious, and beautiful for dinner tonight!
This Ahi Tuna Sandwich is all three.
Perfectly seared tuna marinated in my spicy-sweet Thai pepper sauce (recipe on my page!), topped with crunchy wonton strips, mango salad, and creamy wasabi mayo, all on a toasty bun.
It’s restaurant-quality flavor made right in your kitchen.
Here’s how you make it:
1. Marinate: Coat ahi tuna in my Thai pepper sauce (¼ cup sauce per 6 oz tuna). Let sit 30–60 mins.
2. Sear: Heat sesame oil in a skillet until almost smoking. Sear tuna 2 mins per side until crusty outside but rare in the center.
3. Build: Toast buns. Spread wasabi mayo (recipe also on my page!) on both sides. Add mango salad (recipe below), tuna steak, and fried wonton strips.
