Suji Samosa Balls Recipe Description:

For Suji Dough:

1 cup Suji (semolina)

½ glass water

1 tbsp ghee

½ tsp ajwain

½ tsp jeera

½ tsp oregano (optional)

Salt to taste

Steps:

1. Heat water with ghee, ajwain, jeera, oregano & salt.

2. Add suji and cook till thick.

3. Cool it completely.

4. Mash well to form a smooth dough.

For Filling:

1 tsp oil

1 tsp jeera

½ tsp kalonji

1 chopped onion

Pinch of hing

1 tbsp ginger-garlic-green chilli paste

½ tsp dhaniya powder

½ tsp red chilli powder

½ tsp garam masala

1 tsp crushed dhaniya

Salt to taste

2 boiled potatoes (mashed)

Fresh coriander (chopped)

Steps:

1. Heat oil, add jeera & kalonji.

2. Add onion & hing; sauté.

3. Add ginger-garlic-chilli paste, then spices & salt.

4. Add mashed potatoes & coriander; mix well.

To Shape & Fry:

1. Take small portions of suji dough, flatten slightly.

2. Add potato filling and make balls.

3. Heat oil in a pan and fry till golden.

4. Toss and fry evenly.

Serve hot with chutney or ketchup! 🍽️
