In this video I am going to show you how to make Ragi Murukku | Ragi Murukku #shorts #diwali ##diwalisnacks #diwalivibes
Ingredients
Ragi Flour – 2 cup.
Murukku flour – 1 cup (In absence, use 1/2 cup rice flour & 1/2 cup fried gram flour)
Ajwain – 1 teaspoon
Sesame seeds – 1 teaspoon
Ghee or oil – 2 teaspoon.
Salt for taste
Oil.
Method:-
*RAGI MURUKKU DOUGH
1) In a bowl add Ragi flour 2 cup, 1 cup Murukku flour (in absenceof Murukku flour)
Note :Take 1/2 cup of rice flour, 1/ 2 cup fried gram flour instead of murukku maavu
2) Ajwain, Sesame seeds & salt for taste (chilli powder Optional )
2) I used hot water, may pour 3 tablespoon of hot oil into the flour mix , add required water and mix well to form a soft dough.
* MURUKKU MAKING
1) In a iron kadai, Add required oil and heat it.
2) Once the oil is hot, put the flame in to Medium
3) Grease the murukku mold , stuff the small portion of dough inside the mold , shape it, drop the round shaped Ragi murukku in oil.
4) Flip both the sides and cook well.
5) once done, remove the excess oil and prepare required murukku.
6) Transfer to a serving plate, Diwali special Ragi Murukku is ready to serve
