Whole Wheat Bread Recipe at Home | Soft, Fluffy & Healthy Homemade Bread

This is my go-to 100% atta bread recipe — no maida, no preservatives, no additives.
Perfect for breakfast, sandwiches, toast, kids’ tiffin and everyday clean eating.

🧾 Ingredients

• Warm Milk – 1 cup
• Sugar – 1 tsp
• Instant Yeast – 2 tsp
• Whole Wheat Flour – 2 cups
• Salt – 1 tsp
• Soft Butter – 1.5 tbsp
• Milk – 2 tbsp (for milk wash)
• Butter – 1 tsp (to brush after baking)
• Mixed Seeds – 2 tbsp (sesame, sunflower, flax—your choice)

👩‍🍳 Steps

➡️ Take warm milk, add sugar & yeast. Rest 5 mins until bubbly.
➡️ In a bowl, add whole wheat flour, salt & yeast mixture.
➡️ Knead soft dough, add soft butter & knead 5–7 mins.
➡️ Cover & keep in warm place for 1 hour until doubled.
➡️ Punch the dough, add soft butter, knead 2–3 mins.
➡️ Shape into a log & place in tin. Rest 1 hour.
➡️ Do a milk wash, add seeds on top.
➡️ Bake @180°C for 25–30 mins.
➡️ Brush with butter immediately & cover with wet towel for 1 hour.
➡️ Slice & store in airtight container.
