Healthy Kadhi Pakoda (Recipe ⬇️)
This is not your regular kadhi pakoda 💛 A wholesome, protein-packed twist with 16g protein & ~320 calories per serving ✨

🥗 Ingredients
For Kadhi
• ½ cup besan (gram flour)
• 1 cup dahi (curd)
• ½ tsp turmeric
• ½ tsp red chilli powder
• 3 cups water
• 1 tsp salt
• 1 tsp kasuri methi
• 1 tbsp ghee
• 1 tsp jeera
• Handful curry leaves (kadhipatta)
• ½ tsp methi dana
• 1 tsp coriander seeds
For Protein Pakoda
• 150g soaked yellow moong dal
• 2 green chillies
• ½ tsp salt
• ¼ tsp black pepper
• A pinch baking soda
• Few drops oil for paniyaram pan
For Tadka
• 1 tsp ghee
• ½ tsp rai
• 2 dry red chillies
• ½ tsp Kashmiri red chilli powder
• Few curry leaves

🍲 Recipe
1. Whisk besan, dahi, turmeric, chilli powder & water into a smooth kadhi batter.
2. Heat ghee, add jeera, methi dana, coriander seeds & curry leaves. Sauté, then pour in kadhi mixture. Season with salt & kasuri methi. Let it simmer.
3. For pakodas, blend soaked moong dal with green chillies, salt, pepper & baking soda. Spoon batter into paniyaram pan, cook both sides till golden.
4. Add pakodas into simmering kadhi.
5. Prepare tadka with ghee, rai, dry chillies, Kashmiri red chilli powder & curry leaves. Pour on top.
