Makes: 15 | Time: ~25 mins ⏱️
🟢 Preparation
Prepare 2 tablespoons peanut butter.
🟢 Ingredients
Batter (for 15 rolls):
½ cup whole wheat flour
⅓ cup jaggery powder
2 tbsp peanut butter
1 tbsp cacao powder
¼ tsp vanilla powder
¼ tsp baking soda
Pinch of rock salt
¾ cup water
Chocolate Spread:
½ cup peanut butter
¼ cup jaggery powder
3 tbsp cacao powder
½ tsp vanilla powder
1 tbsp coconut oil
Pinch of rock salt
White Sauce (optional):
10 soaked cashews
1 tbsp water
🟢 Method
1. Add all batter ingredients to a blender and blend until smooth.
2. Lightly grease an iron tawa with cold-pressed coconut oil, wipe clean, and heat on low for 2 minutes.
3. Pour 1 tbsp batter onto the tawa and spread as thin as possible (like a dosa).
4. Cook for ~3 minutes until edges lift. Flip and cook 30-40 seconds more.
5. While hot, quickly roll the wafer around a spoon handle/chopstick. Hold for ~30 seconds until crisp.
6. For the chocolate spread, blend all ingredients until creamy.
7. Fill each wafer roll, add optional white sauce, and serve immediately.
Tips:
• Keep the flame low-medium to avoid clumping.
• To improve crispness, reheat cooked rolls on both sides for 1 minute.
• Properly seasoned tawa = perfect thin, crisp wafers every time.
