Ingredients per 2 servings (makes 2 servings):
– 6 oz ground beef, 95/5, lean, raw
– 1/2 tsp salt
– 1/2 tsp black pepper
– 1 tbsp soy sauce
– 1 raw carrot, medium
– 3 oz spinach
– 1 tbsp sesame oil
– 2 cup shiitake mushrooms
– 2 cup bean sprouts
– 1 tsp minced garlic
– 1 tsp minced ginger
– 2/3 cups jasmine rice, uncooked/raw
– 1 cup chicken bone broth
– 1.5 tbsp gochujang (topping)
How to make it yourself:
1. Wash your rice and set it aside.
2. Thinly dice your carrots and shiitake mushrooms.
3. In your rice cooker, add black pepper, soy sauce, carrots, spinach, sesame oil, shiitake mushrooms, bean sprouts, minced garlic, minced ginger, your washed rice, and chicken bone broth.
4. Cook in your rice cooker for 30-40 minutes depending on your rice cooker settings.
5. In a pan coated with spray oil on medium heat, cook your ground beef seasoned with salt and black pepper.
6. Once your rice cooker is done cooking, add the cooked ground beef on top, mix it all together using a spoon, plate half of it, and top it off with half of the gochujang paste and enjoy!
