DAHI POHA POWER BOWL 🥣✨
This is THE breakfast that’s about to blow up! Creamy, crunchy, tangy, and so loaded with flavor—you won’t believe it’s THIS healthy. The tadka makes ALL the difference. Trust me, you’re about to make this every single day!
INGREDIENTS
Yogurt Base:
½ cup Greek yogurt
½ cup regular curd
Sea salt to taste
Black pepper to taste
Mix-ins:
1 cup poha (soaked and drained)
½ English cucumber (grated and squeezed)
½ beetroot (grated)
½ carrot (grated)
Handful of chopped coriander leaves
Tadka:
1 tablespoon ghee
1 teaspoon mustard seeds
8-10 curry leaves
1 green chilli (slit)
1 whole red chilli
Topping:
Crushed walnuts
Crushed peanuts
RECIPE
In a bowl, add Greek yogurt and regular curd
Add sea salt and black pepper
Whisk until smooth and creamy
Add soaked poha
Add grated and squeezed cucumber (squeeze out excess water!)
Add grated beetroot and carrot
Add chopped coriander leaves
Give it a good mix
Heat ghee in a small pan
Add mustard seeds, let them splutter
Add curry leaves, green chilli, and whole red chilli
Pour the hot tadka over the bowl
Top with crushed walnuts and peanuts
Mix and eat immediately—this is MAGIC!
PRO TIP 💡
Squeeze that cucumber really well—excess water will make it soggy! The hot tadka hitting the cold yogurt creates the most incredible aroma. Make the tadka right before eating for maximum flavor impact. This is best enjoyed fresh when the poha is soft but not mushy!
