This soft and wholesome bread loaf made with sooji is a healthier twist to regular bread! 🍞✨ It’s lighter, has a great texture, and is free from refined maida, making it better for digestion and nutrition than store-bought maida bread. Try this easy homemade treat for a fresh, tasty start to your day! 🌿🥖

INGREDIENTS
– 1/2 Cup (120 ml) Warm Water
– 2 Tsp (8 g) Sugar
– 2 Tsp (6 g) Active Dry Yeast
– 3 Cup (480 g) Fine Semolina/Sooji
– 3 Tbsp (22 g) Milk Powder
– 1 & 1/4 Tsp (7 g) Salt
– 3 Tbsp (40 g) Oil
– 3/4 Cup (180 ml) Water

METHOD
– Mix warm water and sugar untill sugar is dissolved. Add yeast and mix. Cover and set aside for 10-15 minutes for activation.
– ⁠Mix fine semoline, milk powder and salt. Add activated yeast, oil and water.
– ⁠Knead the dough manually for 10-15 minutes or for 5-7 minutes using a stand mixer or hand beater with dough hook attachment.
– ⁠Add a little oil, form a large ball, cover and keep for proofing untill dough doubles in size.
– ⁠After proofing, deflate the dough and roll it into thick sheet. Now roll into a tight cylinder by pinching. Put this into a greased cake tin.
– ⁠Cover with a cloth and keep for second proofing for 1 hour.
– ⁠Apply milk wash. Preheat oven at 200°C for 10 minutes. Bake the bread for 15 minuets and lower the temperature to 180°C and bake for another 20-25 minutes.
– ⁠Take out the mold and apply some oil. Remove from the mold and cover with a cloth and let the loaf cool down completely.
– ⁠Slice and enjoy!
