Red Lobster is offering $1 appetizers at participating restaurants across the United States from October 9 through October 12, 2026. Customers who purchase an entrée can add one of three smaller appetizers for just $1 during the four-day promotion.
According to a company announcement published through PR Newswire, the promotion is part of a wider October lineup that includes new Happy Hour deals, another Endless Shrimp flavor, and free meals for children during Halloween weekend.
For anyone looking to enjoy a seafood dinner without breaking the band, this offer looks to be worth checking out. I particularly like that customers get a choice of appetizers for $1, rather than being limited to one promotional item.
What’s on Red Lobster’s $1 appetizer menu?
Three popular appetizers are included in the promotion, with smaller portions created specifically for the offer.
Customers can choose from:
Parrot Isle Coconut Shrimp: Three jumbo shrimp coated in coconut breading, served with piña colada dipping sauce.
Shrimp Cocktail: Four jumbo shrimp accompanied by traditional cocktail sauce.
Mozzarella Cheesesticks: Four breaded mozzarella sticks served with marinara sauce.
Each option costs just $1 when purchased alongside an entrée.
For seafood fans, the coconut shrimp and shrimp cocktail are obvious choices. However, the mozzarella sticks offer something different for anyone who isn’t in the mood for shrimp.
What did Red Lobster say about the October promotions?
Andy Pitts, Chief Marketing Officer at Red Lobster, explained that the October offers are designed to give customers more reasons to visit.
“We want guests to have more reasons to say yes to Red Lobster when they’re getting together,” said Pitts. “This October, that means more value and choice, with some fun built in, all centered on the food, flavor and hospitality they expect from us.”
The $1 appetizer promotion is only the beginning, with several additional offers arriving throughout October.

Starting Monday, October 12, participating locations will introduce Late Night Happy Hour, running from 9pm until closing, Monday through Friday.
Alongside the existing weekday Happy Hour, which runs from 3 pm to 6pm, customers can enjoy $6 cocktails, wine, and beer, plus $2 off selected appetizers.
Additionally, families have an offer to look forward to between October 30 and November 1.
Children arriving in Halloween costumes can receive free kids’ meals when dining in, with up to two free meals available per full-price adult dinner entrée, limited to two per table.
Online takeout orders also qualify for one free kids’ meal with a full-price adult dinner entrée using the code SPOOKY26.
