Last week (October 14, 2026, to be exact), Aldi announced the return of their $39 Thanksgiving dinner that feeds 10 people. That price comes out to less than $4 per person, and the promotion runs through November 25. Before you march in with a cart and a dream, there are some important pieces of info you should know. For instance, this meal bundle is more of a build-your-own-adventure situation than it is a one-stop shop, and different items hit the shelves on different dates. The turkey and the pie ingredients are the last to show up, so the announcement didn’t necessarily mean all of the items would be available to shop immediately. Scott Patton, Chief Commercial Officer at Aldi, said the goal is making Thanksgiving shopping “simple, affordable and delicious.” Simple, sure, but you’ll need to keep a calendar.

The Deal & the Dates That Matter
According to Aldi’s press release, the bundle feeds 10 for under $39. That’s about $1 less than Aldi’s 2025 deal, which was priced at $40. It’s also roughly 30 cents below the American Farm Bureau Federation’s 2025 national average of $55.18 for a 10-person dinner.
The catch with this deal from Aldi is that the items roll out on different dates, so you’ll likely need multiple trips, or well-timed online orders, to assemble the full spread. In the press release, Aldi states that shoppers will be able to find the items between October 14 and November 25. Here are the dates you need to know:
October 26: cranberries are available
November 4: the 16-pound Farmer’s Choice Turkey is available
November 11: pumpkin pie items are available
What Actually Goes in the Cart
Here’s the full list of items included in the $39 deal, according to Aldi:
16-pound Farmer’s Choice whole turkey
3 boxes of Chef’s Cupboard stuffing mix
Baby peeled carrots
Celery
12 ounces of cranberries
3 pounds of sweet potatoes
L’oven Fresh Hawaiian Sweet Rolls
Two bags of Season’s Choice Steamable frozen peas
Baker’s Corner pumpkin pie mix, plus whipping cream, whole milk, and pie crusts
If your cart feels more from-scratch than last year’s, that’s because it is. Aldi swapped some prepared items for fresh produce: Sweet potato casserole became whole sweet potatoes, and cranberry sauce became whole cranberries. You’ll be doing some of the work yourself, which, to be fair, is also how the price stays low.
One thing we don’t know yet is the exact per-item prices. Aldi hasn’t released those yet, and the company notes that the actual total varies by location and product selection. So “under $39” is the headline, not a guarantee down to the penny at your store. The price also doesn’t reflect items you’ll likely also need, like seasoning, sugar, butter, marshmallows, and more.

How to Shop Without Losing Your Mind
In stores, you can look for the small turkey logo on the shelf tag marking the deal items. Online, you can add the entire list to a cart with one click on Aldi.us and select curbside pickup or delivery. Aldi also shared a printable shopping list on its website that you can find here. The bundle is also available through third-party delivery services including DoorDash, Instacart, and Uber Eats, though those platforms will add their own service and delivery fees.

A few tactics for the staggered rollout:
Shop in waves. Grab what’s already on shelves now, then circle back when the cranberries, turkey, and pie items arrive.
Check your store first. Curbside and delivery inventory reflects what’s actually in stock locally, so confirm availability on Aldi.us before you go.
Split your online orders. If you’re doing pickup or delivery, place separate orders aligned to the rollout dates so one missing ingredient doesn’t hold the cart hostage.
And the best part just may be that you don’t need a single coupon, loyalty card, membership, or minimum purchase to get the advertised prices.
The Bottom Line
The deal runs through November 25, the day before Thanksgiving. Put three dates on the calendar so you don’t miss them: October 26 for cranberries, November 4 for the turkey, and November 11 for the pie items. Ten people, one very large bird, under $39, and no membership or coupon in sight.
