Ingredients
Snake gourd pieces 200 gms
Yam peeled and cut into pieces 200 gms
Yogurt 100 ml
Tomatoes 2 cut itno pieces
2 Green chillies
15 Shallots cut into pieces
1 Sprig of coriander leaves
1 Spoon of fennel powder
1 Spoon of Chili Flakes
Half a Spoon of Pepper powder
1 Spoon of Coriander powder
A quarter spoon of Turmeric powder
500 ml of water
Salt to taste
10 ml of oil
Preparation
Heat the pan and pour in 10 ml of oil. Put in the shallots and saute till golden brown. Then put in the yam pieces and saute thoroughly. Put in the snake gourd pieces and saute well.Put in the tomato pieces and saute and crush. Put in the chili flakes, pepper powder,coriander powder,fennel powder and turmeric powder and saute well. Put in salt to taste and mix thoroughly. Add 500 ml of water and mix all the ingredients in the water. Cook for 25 minutes. After 25 minutes add 100 ml of yogurt and mix. Put the coriander leaves over the stew . Take off the flame and serve
