I didn’t follow a recipe for the steak parmesan but I recommend searing each side for a couple minutes and then placing some sauce into the bottom of a baking dish, adding the steaks..top with more sauce and then the cheese. Cover with foil, bake at 350 for 25-45 minutes (depends on the thickness) uncover and let it bake for an additional 5-10 minutes. This should prevent it from being chewy.
