INSTANT RAVA MEDU VADA | घर में बनाये क्रिस्पी मेडु वडे सूजी से | SOOJI VADA | SEMOLINA VADA

Instant Rava vada is a tasty breakfast or evening snack recipe for which the batter is prepared with rava/semolina/suji and yogurt and deep-fried in oil. They are very tasty and easy to prepare. These vadas can be served with coconut chutney or peanut/tomato or sweet ginger chutney….or they taste good even without any accompaniment.

INGREDIENTS
Semolina (सूजी/रवा) – 1 Cup
Curd (दही) – ½ Cup
Water (पानी)– As Required
Chopped Curry Leaves (कड़ी पत्ता) – 1 TBSP
Chopped Green Chilies (हरी मिर्च) – 1 (You Can Skip It)
Chopped Coriander Leaves (धनिया पत्ती) – 2 TBSP
Finely Chopped Ginger (अदरक) – 1 TBSP
Finely Chopped Onion (प्याज) – 1 Small
Salt (नमक) – ½ TSP or as per paste
Asafoetida (हींग) – Pinch Off
Black Pepper Powder (काली मिर्च पाउडर) – ¼ TSP
Baking Soda (बेकिंग सोडा) – Pinch Off
Refined Oil (रिफाइंड तेल) – For Frying Vadas

RECIPE
In a mixing bowl add Semolina & Curd
Mix It Well
Add little water & make a thick paste
Cover it & rest it for 30 minutes, so that semolina soaks water properly
Now after 30 minutes remove lid
Batter is little thick
Add little water & mix well
Now add chopped curry leaves, green chilli, coriander leaves, ginger & onion
Mix it well
Add salt, asafoetida & pepper powder
Mix it well
Batter is still thick
Add some water & mix it well
Now add some baking soda & mix well
Now heat oil in kadai on medium flame
Take some water in bowl.
Put some water in palm so that batter doesn’t get stick to palm
Now take some batter in palm
Spread it & make small hole in middle using finger
Now put it in oil carefully for frying
If you want you can take spatula also
Spread batter in spatula like this & put hole in middle
Now put it in oil
Fry Vada from both sides
Fry till they turn golden in colour
Take it out in a plate
Fry remaining vada in same way
INSTANT RAVA MEDU VADA is ready
See how crispy it from outside & soft from inside
Serve hot with Chutney
Serve & Taste
