Low Calorie Chole Paneer Masala

Ingredients
250 grams paneer
200 grams fresh peas, tender
1 tablespoon oil
2 onions (sliced)
1-inch piece ginger (roughly chopped)
4 cloves garlic (roughly chopped)
100ml tomato puree
1 teaspoon whole jeera
1/4 teaspoon turmeric powder
1/2 teaspoon red chili powder
2 teaspoon dhania powder
1 tsp garam masala
salt to taste
2 tablespoon fresh coriander (finely chopped for garnish)

Method
Heat oil in a pan and fry onions, ginger and garlic.
Once they are soft and golden-brown grind to a paste.
Heat oil in a pan, add jeera, when it splutters add the onion ginger garlic paste. Sauté for few minutes, add tomato puree and cook till oil separates.
Add the salt, dry spices and sauté briefly, and then add the peas.
Stir fry for 2 minutes until brightly coloured.
Add about 1/2 cup water and stir continuously until gravy begins to thicken.
Add the paneer and cook on simmer, covered, for 5 minutes
Add more water as required.
Taste and adjust seasoning.
Garnish with fresh chopped coriander.
