Vegetables [Bitter gourd (karela), White radish 1 inch cubes, Ridge gourd (turai) 1 inch cubes, Sweet potatoes 1 inch cubes, Broad beans (sem ki phalli/papdi) 1 inch pieces, Drumsticks 1 inch pieces, Aubergine/ brinjals 1 inch cubes] – 100g (1 cup)
Oil – 1 tsp
ghee-1tbsp
Poppy seeds (khuskhus/posto) – 1 tsp
radhuni-1 tbsp
Ginger – ½ inch piece
Panch phoran [jeera,mustard seed, methi seed,saunf,kalonji] -1 teaspoon
Bay leaf – ½ no.
Salt to taste
Water – as required
