Procedure:
How to make Layered Parotta:
1. To a mixing bowl add maida, salt and sugar. Mix it well.
2. Add water and make chapathi batter consistency.
3. Then start adding 1 tsp of oil at a time and knead well. You will have to add 1/2 cup of oil.
4. Then grease the batter with oil and close with damp cloth.
5. Let this rest for 6 hours.
6. Then knead again and make smooth balls out of it.
7. Grease a plate back and place the ball in the centre. Spread it thin using a rolling pin.
8. Then make cuts using a pizza cutter. Then stretch and pull from one end and roll it. Seal the ends well.
9. Then again grease plate and place th eroll in the centre. Spread it thin using your hands.
10. Heat tawa and grease oil. Place it in tawa. Cook in medium flame for 2 to 3 minutes.
11. When one side is nicely done, flip to the other side and let this again cook for 2 to 3 minutes.
12. When both sides are nice nad golden brown, remove.
13. Likewise make all the parottas and place them in a rolling board one on top of other.
14. Hit hard from the sides.
15. Now your delicious and soft parottas are ready to enjoy. Serve it hot with some gravy and enjoy with your family and friends.
