A banana bread recipe that isn’t overly sweet- perfect for a snack, breakfast, or desert. About 140 calories per serving (10 servings per loaf).
Ingredients:
3 large or 4 medium brown bananas
2 tablespoons melted unsalted butter
1/4 cup unsweetened applesauce
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 egg at room temperature
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 cup mini chocolate chips (optional)
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon (more to sprinkle on top if you’d like)
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
3/4 cup whole wheat flour
3/4 cup all-purpose flour
Greased loaf pan
Note: Don’t overly mix batter and baking time may vary from 40-50 minutes at 350 degrees Fahrenheit
