Our family loves healthy and quick snack, that we can grab on the go, to the gym or playground.
Today , i am sharing with you one of our favorite gluten free energy ball recipe. You are welcome to altar it if you are allergic to nuts and sub with anything you would like.
For this recipe you will need:
-2 cups GF oats
-1 cup almond butter
-1/2 cup maple syrup
-pinch of salt
-1/2 cup sunflower seeds
-1/2 cup walnuts
-1/2 cup cocoa powder
-1 tbs coconut oil or butter if you don’t have oil
– You will need coconut flakes(raw) and some festive chocolate for decorations, or you can just do it without red chocolate. I did mine, because they were for Valentines Day 🙂
You will mix everything together and form balls. Then you will put them on a sheet pan and put in the fridge for 8-10 min to harden.
-If you do want to use melted chocolate for decorations, then wait till the balls harden and then decorate them.
-If you do not wish to use chocolate, then as soon as you form the balls, cover them with shredded coconut flakes and then put in the fridge for 30 min.
I hope you enjoy this recipe and love it as much as we do 🙂
PLEASE DON’T FORGET TO GIVE IT A THUMBS UP AND IF YOU WOULD LIKE MORE RECIPES LIKE THAT, LEAVE ME A COMMENT DOWN BELOW.
