This video shows how to make a traditional breakfast recipe using Broken wheat. This is generally made with broken rice also known as rice rava, but here I have used Broken wheat, which is called as wheat rava/godhi rava/Daliya.
It is a very healthy food using minimal oil and is steam cooked.
Ingredients
Wheat rava/Dalia 1 cup
Tuvar dal/pigeon pea lentils 1/4 cup
Dry red chilli 4
oil 1 tbsp
Mustard seeds 1/4 tsp
urad dal 1/4 tsp
Dry red chilli 1
curry leaves a few
hing/asafoetida a pinch
Water 2 cups
Grated coconut 1/4 cup
Salt to taste
For chutney
tomatoes 3
oil 3tsp
mustard 1/4 tsp
cumin 1/4 tsp
hing a pinch
curry leaves a few
turmeric powder a pinch
Chilli powder 1 tsp
salt to taste
