Let’s see how to make a Greek salad. I’ll like to show you very easy Greek salad recipe.

Ingredients
300g Greek feta cheese break into large pieces
300g cucumber peeled and cut in around 12mm cube
300g tomatoes cut in 12 mm cube
300g mixed color bell pepper or long mild chilies cut into 12 mm pieces
100g red onions cut into 12 mm pieces
150g mixed olives

for the sauce:
5g Dijon mustard
5g chopped garlic
10g diced shallots
5g chopped Italian parsley

Himalaya salt and crushed white pepper
30g vinegar (apple cider or red wine vinegar)
50g extra virgin olive oil
½ tablespoon dry oregano

garnish:
mixed salad leaf (lettuce, rucola, frisee….)
lemon wedge
celery leaf, Italian parsley springs

extra choice:
serve with pan-fried chicken breast, salmon or beef steak

Tools

deep plates or salad bowls
cutting board,
knifes and peeler
strainer and bowls
spatulas and ladles
kitchen towel and kitchen paper

procedure

wash all vegetables and cut into you preferred size,

use a large salad bowl to make the sauce and have room to mix all.

add mustard, garlic, shallots, salt& pepper and dry oregano, add the vinegar, and mix all well until the salt and mustard are dissolved. add the olive oil and mix in well. now add in the cucumber, tomato, bell peppers, red onions, olives and feta, mix all well with the sauce and adjust the seasoning to your taste. lay some salad leaf on the bottom of the salad plate and arrange the mixed salad on it. garnish with fresh herbs, place a piece of feta on top and sprinkle more dry oregano and olive oil over the salad.

do/ don’t

use good quality of olive oil and fruit vinegars, do not use cooking oil.

use fresh ripe and colorful vegetables, let the salad marinate for 15 minutes and serve at room temperature to enjoy the full aromas of the salad.
