Dal Makhani is a very famous dish from Indian State of Punjab. Dhal Refers to Lentils and Makhani means buttery. It means Buttery Daal. Today we are going to make low fat and healthy version without butter and cream without compromising its taste.

Dal makhani ingredients:

Black dal/kali urad- 1 cup
Rajma – 1/4 tbsp
Medium size onion, chopped – 2
Tomato puree – 4 Tomatoe
Salt to taste
Oil – 1 tblspoon
Jeera – 1 tsp
Kashmiri red chilli powder – 2 tsp

Ginger garlic paste – 1 tbsp
