INGREDIENTS
1. Wheat flour – 2 cup
2. Milk – 1 cup + 1 tsp
(1 tsp to apply on risen dough)
3. Light brown sugar – 1 tbsp
4. Salt – 1/2 tsp
5. Yeast – 1 tsp
6. Baking powder – 1 tsp
7. Melted butter(unsalted) – 3 tbsp + 1/2 tsp
(1/2 tsp to apply on hot baked bread)
8. Vegetable oil – 2 tsp
OVEN INSTRUCTIONS
Preheat the oven @ 375°F (180°C) for 15 minutes.
Bake @ 375°F (180°C) for about 30 minutes to 35 minutes
Though each oven behaves differently. Some will take the exact time mentioned in the recipe, some may need more or less time. So it is best to understand your oven to get the right baking.
DOUGH RISE
Rising is when the dough is placed in a warm place and allowed to double in size. Basically making the yeast to ferment forming air bubbles which makes the bread light and airy.
Bread can be made from dough that has risen from 2 to 3 times. Basically 2 times but in this recipe it is done 3 times to help rise more evenly as wheat flour is much denser than refined flour.
The surrounding temperature does matter in rising. If the place where you live is hot and humid you will need less time and only 2 times risen dough to bake a good airy bread.
