Homemade bread is probably on the top of my list on my “favorite goodies to bake” EVER! I will show you my own take on an easy, healthy, yet affordable bread recipe I got from a lovely lady, Judi in the Kitchen, who generously shared her recipe from her own bakery here on YouTube. This was one of the most healthy and nutritious bread I have ever tasted and I suggest you should go make your own because homemade bread tastes WAY better than the store-bought ones (although, I do not recommend you doing this on a busy day!).

EASY RECIPE
Ingredients (slightly modified from Judi’s Original Recipe):
1 ½ cups hot boiling water
1 ½ cups instant oats (I used golden oats)
3 tbsp butter (you can use vegetable oil for vegans)
1/4 cup + 1 tbsp brown sugar
2 tsp salt
2 tsp cornstarch
2 cups bread flour
2 cups whole wheat flour
2 tsp instant yeast
2 eggs
1 tbsp oats (optional) for topping
~feel free to substitute the butter with vegetable oil for a healthier option~
