In this video, i will take you through how to make simple, easy, quick and healthy aval upma / Red Poha upma. In English, it is called as Flattened Rice. Usually, we make upma with sooji or Rava which consumes more oil and also not suits for many as it may lead to digestion problems. But, this Poha Upma/ Aval upma is healthiest breakfast to have to start off the day. Its easy to digest and it can be made with many variations according to our creativity.
Here, i have prepared this aval upma / poha upma by using sigappu aval / Red Poha which is more tastier than white poha or white aval. I made this upma with peanuts, ginger, chilies, carrot, beans, peas vegetables with nut powder. There are no preservatives added. Its quite easy to make and also a quick breakfast recipe. Kids and Babies can also have this healthy poha recipe.
