INGREDIENTS:
Millets –1 cup
Spinach – 1 bunch
Cumin seeds – 1 teaspoon
Ginger Garlic paste – 1 teaspoon
Green chillies – 1 to 2 (slit)
Salt- to taste
Oil – 1 to 2 table spoon
Water – 4 to 6 Cups
Peanuts
Kaju
Sunflower seeds
Pumpkin seeds
PROCEDURE:
1. Wash millets and soak 2 hours.
2.Wash and grind spinach into puree.
3.Heat 1 table spoon of oil in a kadai.Add Cumin seeds, peanuts,kaju,sunflower seeds,pumpkin seeds, green chilies and ginger and fry for a minute.Now add onions and saute till brown.
4.Now add spinach puree, 4 cups of water, salt and bring to boil. When it starts boiling, add millets mixture. Check for salt and cook till 15 minutes on medium flame.
Enjoy with any crispy side dishes or raita.
