Nutella Recipe ( Homemade Chocolate Hazelnut Spread ) is presented in this video. For this Nutella substitute I use only healthy ingredients such as baking cocoa powder, coconut oil, honey for sweetness and of course hazelnuts. This chocolate spread sandwich is a great idea for an easy breakfast with a sweet taste. I’m sure that if you have kids they will love this spread on a crispy breadstuff. I consider this recipe as a healthy homemade alternative to Nutella because it doesn’t taste the same but even so it is so delicious and in my opinion it’s even better than the original.

To make this recipe you will need ingredients listed below:
50 g hazelnuts
3 tbsp coconut oil
3 tbsp creamed honey
1 1/2 tbsp baking cocoa powder (and a real cacao would be even better!)
pinch of salt

Preparation instructions:
Roast hazelnuts on the pan on medium – low heat without any oil. Stir frequently to prevent them from burning. It will take about 5 -10 minutes. Let hazelnuts chill out and then peel them off. You may also use peeled store bought hazelnuts. Just roast them on the pan for couple of minutes. Place them in the blender. Add coconut oil and make sure that it is at about its melting point. Add creamed honey. I use this honey for this recipe as it gives more creamy texture this spread but if you wish to make this recipe even healthier you can substitute it with a true raw honey. Add also baking cocoa or cacao powder. Remember to add a pinch of salt as it enhances the chocolate taste. Blend everything until it is completely smooth and has creamy consistency. Spread this delicious spread on fresh bread and enjoy the pleasure of eating something delicious and healthy at the same time. You may keep this spread in the refrigerator in food container for a couple of days if you can resist this awesome chocolate taste. This is vegetarian recipe. You may substitute honey with maple syrup to make this recipe vegan. This spread goes well with my own crispy bread and the link to that recipe is below:
