Welcome to ANDLEEB’S KITCHEN & TIPS. With Holi around the corner, I am presenting tp you Thandai which is a most sought after drink during this festival. Thandai is a drink which is wholesome and has heavy nutritional value. Thandai has a lot of nuts and required spices making it really healthy.
Thandai is generally made way ahead of time and stored in a container to be made later. But this recipe is an instant one. We are not doing a make-ahead recipe.

Ingredients:
Full Cream Milk – 1.5 lts
Almonds (Blanched and peeled) – 15 nos.
Cashew (Soaked) – 8 nos.
Pistachio (Blanched and peeled) – 15 nos.
Melon Seeds (Maghaz) (Soaked) – 3 tbsp
Poppy Seeds (Khukhus) (Soaked) – 3 tbsp
Sugar – 1/2 Cup (Adjust to taste)
Green Cardamom – 4 to 5 whole pods
Black Peppercorns – 10 to 15, Adjust spice as required
Cinnamon Stick – 1 inch
Dried Rose Petals – 3 tbsp
Saffron Strands – 1 large pinch
