Ingredients:

1. Oats – 400 gms
2. Curd – 400 gms
3. Onion – 55 gms
4. Putana – 50 gms
5. Green Chilies – 4
6. Fenugreek Seeds – 1/2 tsp
7. Mustard Seeds – 1 tsp
8. Cumin Seeds – 1 tsp
9. Turmeric – 1/2 tsp
10. Curry Leaves – some
11. Cilantro – some
12. Mint Leaves – some

Method:

1. On a hot pan dry roast mustard seeds, cumin, curry leaves and green chilies
2. Add oats and roast thoroughly.
3. Add Onions and roast
4. Add 500 to 600 ml water and sprinkle turmeric
5. Close the lid and cook for 10 minutes with lid closed
6. Add curd and cook for another 5 minutes stirring continously till the lumps dissolve
7. Sprinkle mint leaves, putana and garnish with cilantro to finish.

That’s it. Our super healthy Oats kadi is ready. Serve hot and enjoy.
