Sautéed Garlic Green Beans🧄🌱⁣

This is a restaurant favourite and for good reason!They’re blistered until perfectly wrinkled, bright green with a crunchy texture and packed with garlic flavor. Such a simple dish but lots of flavor🥢🥡⁣

Traditionally, these are made using a technique called dry-fying where they flash fry the beans without a batter in hot oil to quickly blister and dry out the food🔥⁣

So I took that same concept and found a method with equally desirable results by dry roasting the green beans♨️We don’t always have a pot of fry oil at hand nor do we want to heat one up especially since this is such a simple recipe.⁣

So here’s my ode to this amazing dish✨⁣

5 Ingredients, done under 15 minutes, packed with flavor… LET’S DO THIS✌🏼⁣

Ingredients⁣
🔺1 loose cup Green Beans, unblanched*, ends trimmed⁣
🔺3 Garlic Cloves, minced, add more if you want!⁣
🔺1 tbsp Soy Sauce, more to taste⁣
🔺1 tbsp Chicken Broth*⁣
🔺1/2 tbsp Sweetener, more to taste⁣
🔺Choice of oil/fat to cook⁣

Garnish⁣
🔺Fried Garlic, optional⁣

Macros⁣
🔺83 Calories 10Carb/3Fat/4Protein⁣

This dish is super versatile as you can add spices, other seasonings, conidements and even use different vegetables to change it up🥦🥕🍆🍄⁣

*Can use any other type of broth or simply water⁣
*By not pre-blanching the green beans, I found we get a better char/roast and it also lets the green beans keep its crunch!⁣
