HOMEMADE CHOCOLATE PUDDING

Today I’m going to show you how to make homemade chocolate pudding from scratch.

This chocolate pudding is so much better than any pudding you will find in the store.

I made this pudding without cornstarch, using just oats, works every time!

HOMEMADE CHOCOLATE PUDDING RECIPE
(makes 6 servings)

Ingredients:
1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder (25g)
1/2 cup ground oats or oat flour (50g)
1/4 tsp salt
2.5 cups milk, dairy or non-dairy (600ml)
3 tbsp maple syrup
1/4 cup chopped dark chocolate (50g)
1 tsp vanilla extract

NUTRITIONAL INFO (per serving):
141 calories, fat 4.4g, carb 22.3g, protein 5.4g

Preparation:
In a saucepan, add cocoa powder, ground oats and salt.

Slowly mix in milk, stirring all the time. Stir in maple syrup.

Place over medium heat and bring to simmer, let it bubble for 1-2 minutes constantly whisking.

Remove from heat and stir in dark chocolate and vanilla extract, mix everything well until melted and smooth.

Pour the hot pudding into the ramekins or any other containers of your choice.

Let it chill in the fridge for 2-3 hours.

Top with spoonful of vanilla whipped cream and sliced fresh strawberries.
