A&Z #975 – Randy Santel and @Katina Eats Kilos each vs the “Laker Loin” Giant Iowa Pork Tenderloin Sandwich Challenge hosted by Iowa Lakes Community College at their Emmetsburg, Iowa campus!! A few weeks after finishing my 2-month Florida Tour with @Katina Eats Kilos, I started a Midwest USA Food Challenge Tour. For event #2, Katina joined me in Emmetsburg, Iowa so we could help kick off the new “Laker Loin” Iowa Pork Tenderloin Sandwich Challenge for the Hotel & Restaurant Management Program of Iowa Lakes Community College which has 5 Iowa campus locations. Student Isaac Bruggeman and teacher Dustin Ross attempted the challenge with us, and we each had 30 short minutes to finish six 1/2 pound breaded & deep fried pork tenderloin cuts stacked and topped with healthy vegetables, served with 1 pound of seasoned fries. We were each trying to win our $39.95 meals free plus sweet t-shirts and spots on the future Wall of Fame. BIG thanks to Brandon, Jesse, and everyone with Iowa Lakes Community College for the wonderful food, drinks, and hospitality!! Special thanks also to all the amazing Iowa Lakes students and teachers who came that day to watch and meet us!! We appreciate everyone in Emmetsburg, IA and around Iowa who watches videos and supports our hard efforts!! There are many more Iowa and Nebraska videos upcoming!!

Iowa Lakes CC Emmetsburg’s “Lake Loin” Giant Pork Tenderloin Sandwich Challenge!! ($39.95):
– Iowa Lakes Community College has 5 campuses in Iowa, including one in Emmetsburg, Iowa.
– This food challenge was sponsored by the Hotel & Restaurant Management Program.
– Thanks to Brandon with the college and to Jesse who runs the HRM program for the school.
– Katina, myself, Isaac, and Dustin all attempted their “Laker” Pork Tenderloin Sandwich Challenge.
– This event was held in the gymnasium and free lunch was served to all the people who attended.
– There were six 1/2 pound breaded & deep fried Iowa pork tenderloin cuts stacked on a sandwich.
– It was all topped with healthy lettuce, pickles, onions, and tomatoes, served with 1 pound of fries.
– There was a 30 minute time limit to finish. Winners get the $39.95 meal free and a sweet t-shirt!!
