Ingredients
1/2 cup Low Sodium Soy Sauce
1/4 cup water
2 tablespoons Apple Cider Vinegar
1 tablespoons brown sugar or brown sugar replacement
1 tablespoons granulated sugar or sugar replacement
1 tablespoon minced garlic
1 teaspoon ground ginger
1 tablespoon cornstarch
2 tablespoons warm water
1 lb Ground Turkey
1-2 teaspoons sesame oil
a pinch or two of red pepper flakes
1-2 cups finely chopped broccoli
1-2 cups finely shredded cabbage
1/2 – 1 cup shredded carrots
1. Turn on the SEAR/SAUTE function to medium heat. Combine all of the sauce ingredients (except for 2 tablespoons warm water and corn starch). Simmer until sugars are dissolved. Combine the warm water with the cornstarch and add to your sauce. Simmer until thickened and then remove from the pot.
2. Brown your turkey meat with sesame oil and red pepper flakes. Once cooked add your broccoli, cabbage, and carrots. Add your sauce back in and cook until veggies are soft.
3. Serve over rice or eat as is.
