Ragi dosa recipe can be prepared by using fermentation technique – similar to the normal dosa preparation. This ragi dosa recipe can be served as a breakfast throughout the year regardless of any season. It is a healthy choice to have ragi dosa in our diet at least once a week. Ragi Dosa Recipe – Fermented
Serves – 3

Ingredients Required:
1. Ragi – 1 Cup
2. Cooked Rice – 1/2 Cup
3. Urad Dal – 1/4 Cup
4. Fenugreek Seeds – 1/2 Tsp
5. Water – 1 Cup + 1/4 Cup (after fermentation)
6. Salt – 1Tsp

Steps for preparation:
1. Cleanse ragi thoroughly and soak ragi for a minimum of 8 hrs prior to batter preparation.
2. Cleanse and Soak urad dal and Fenugreek Seeds together for a min of 3 hrs prior to batter preparation.
3. Transfer the soaked millet into a mixing jar and grind to a coarse paste.
4. Add water and remaining soaked items along with cooked rice and grind to a smooth batter.
5. Ferment the batter for 4 hrs before making dosa.
6. Add water to adjust consistency for a crispier dosa.
7. This tasty dosa is an ideal healthy and tasty recipe which we should definitely try.

Note: If the idea is to store batter for another day, do not ferment more as the batter starts tasting sour. After 4 hrs of fermentation transfer batter to the refrigerator.
