This has to be the easiest slow cooker recipe for healthy beef sandwiches for your family. This cooks for 7-8 hours on low in the crockpot and the smells that come from your kitchen will make your mouth water. As much as you might be tempted to lift up the lid while it is cooking don’t do it. Every time you open the lid you lose 30 minutes of cooking time.

Here’s The Recipe:
1 – 3-4lb. bottom round or loin beef roast
1 clove of garlic
1 12oz beer (the alcohol cooks out of it so you can serve it to children)
1 package of Lipton Onion Soup Mix
1 – 12oz jar of mild banana pepper rings or whatever other ones you like
1 cup of water
cook on low 7-8 hours then shred the meat in the pot

Heat the oven to 400 degrees
Take 1 loaf of bread and slice it down the middle, add butter spray or olive oil and sprinkle a little garlic powder. Add either provolone or mozzarella cheese on top and bake it for 7-8 minutes or until the bread is crispy and the cheese is melted.

Then add your shredded beef to the top and put a little of the juice on the side for dipping.
