*Pressure cook 250 GM of taro in a glass of water for 3 whistles
Peel off the skin
*Heat a kadai
On medium flame
Add
–2 tbsp of oil
–1/2 tsp mustard seeds
–1/2 tsp jeera
–1/4 tsp methi seeds
Let it splutter
Now add
–5 slit green chillies
–Few curry leaves
–1/4 tsp hing
–1big sized chopped onions
–2 medium sized tomato pieces
–Saute well for about 3 minutes
–Cook it with the lid on 2 minutes
–Once it turns out smushy
Add
–1 tsp salt
–1/4 tsp Turmeric
*Saute well and cook it with lid on for 2 minutes
*Add
— Boiled taro
–Tamarind pulp (small lemon size)
–Water 1/2 glass
Cook for 5 minutes
*Mix 3 tsp of roasted chana dhal powder in bit water
For roasted chana dhal powder

*Add this mix to the kadai
*Cook for 2 minutes
Few chopped coriander leaves.
Hot and yummy taro sambar ready to serve with rice.
