Green and red Christmas salad
(10 servings/ 15 minutes/ 170 calories)
Ingredients
Washed and rinsed corn =1 can
Rinsed peas =1 can
Rinsed red beans =1 can
Chopped red onion =½ cup
Chopped celery =½ cup
Chopped radish =½ cup
Mustard =1 teaspoon
Mayonnaise =1.5 teaspoon
Salt, sugar, and pepper as needed
Low fat milk=2 tablespoon
Preparation
In a large bowl, mix corn, peas, beans, onion, celery and radish. In a small bowl mix well salad sauce and milk (or cream). Pour sauce over the salad and put in the refrigerator overnight.
For sauce preparation, mix well 1 teaspoon mustard, 1 and half tablespoon mayonnaise, a little salt, sugar, pepper, 1 tablespoon red vinegar.
