I don’t think many can argue that home-made meals generally are healthier than take-away. For the last 5 years, I have switched to making dog food at home instead of buying it.

When asked by vets what do you feed your dog, I tell them I cook pasta, mince and vegetables and their reply is that is better than any store-bought meal.

It’s quick and easy to buy and make. It also costs about the same as it would if you were to buy normal dog food. The only difference is the time spent on cooking it which I know is worth it for my dog’s overall health. I know what has gone into it as it’s human-grade food.
