It is very easy to make let’s see how to prepare it.

Ingredients :

– 3 Cups Sorghum/Jowar millet
– 1 Cup whole black Urad
– salt to taste
– Eno/soda or Baking powder (optional)

Method :

– First wash sorghum and whole Urad properly.
– Soak both the things separately for one day.
– Grind both the grains separately with little water.
– Mix the pastes together.
– Ferment the batter for 5 to 6 hours.
– Now add Salt to taste and Eno or soda to batter.
– Fill the batter to greased Idli mould.
– steam Idlies for 10 mins.
– Delicious and healthy Idlies are ready.
– Serve with sambar or chutney.
