Nutritious Breakfast Bread Recipe: Damn Easy & Delicious (Without Oven)

The best thing about this bread is that it is quick, and can be prepared in a single bowl, all in a matter of minutes before you place the dough into a loaf pan and pop it into preheated cooking pot. Perfect for every one of us busy people who still want to eat homemade quick bread! Kids will love them as well.

This quick and easy homemade bread is a good source of nutrition.

Kidney Beans – good source of several vitamins and minerals, such as molybdenum, folate, iron, copper, manganese, potassium, vitamin K1 and phosphorus.

Carrots – reduced cholesterol, lower risk of heart attacks, prevention of certain cancers, improved vision, and reduced signs of premature aging.

Green Peas – higher levels of protein, good source of dietary fiber, Vitamin A, iron, folate, thiamin, Vitamin C and manganese.

Sweet Corn – loaded with lutein and zeaxanthin, promote healthy vision, help with weight loss, aids in digestion, contains B vitamins, iron, protein and potassium

Step # 1

Making Bread Dough (Ingredients):

All Purpose Flour – 1 Cup
Oil – 1 tbsp
Icing Sugar – 1 tbsp
Yeast – 1 tsp
Egg – 1 (whole)
Milk – (add in intervals, until thick, sticky consistency formed)

Making Bread Dough (Method):

1). In a clean bowl, add flour, oil, icing sugar, and yeast. Mix using a beater.
2). Now add small quantities of milk in intervals, and keep mixing until thick, sticky consistency is formed.
3). Brush the dough with oil.
4). Cover the dough in the bowl properly, and let it sit for 30 minutes to 1 hour.

Step # 2

1). After the dough is raised, knead the dough with help of all-purpose flour until smooth, non-sticky consistency formed as shown in the video.

2). Flatten the dough with the help of rolling pin.

3). Transfer the bread dough onto a greased baking tray.

Step # 3 (Topping & Baking)

1). Top the flattened bread dough with boiled veggies such Kidney Beans, Carrots, Green Peas, and Corn. You can also use canned veggies if you want.

2). Cover and bake in preheated pot for 15-20 minutes on low flame. For oven, bake on (190C/370F) 10-15 minutes.

3). Your Nutritious Bread is ready. Serve with Orange Jam, cup of tea, or whatever you like.
