Ingredients:
For the filling
300g boneless chicken, cooked and shredded
5 medium sized onions, thinly chopped
2 garlic cloves, chopped
1 tbsp chopped ginger
2 green chillies, chopped
Chopped herbs of choice (I used coriander leaves)
1 tsp fennel seeds
1 tbsp kashmiri chilli powder
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
1 tsp fennel powder
1/4 garam masala powder
1 tsp pepper powder
Salt to taste
For the Pockets
150g all purpose flour
150g wheat flour
Salt to taste
Recipe:
Heat oil in a pan and add the fennel seeds and sliced onions. Saute for a few minutes and add ginger, garlic and chilli and saute until golden. Add the spices, salt and saute until fragrant. Add the shredded chicken, herbs and mix until combined.
Mix the flour and wheat flour with salt water and make a dough. Roll it thinly and make the pockets using a mould as shown in the video. Deep fry until crisp and enjoy!!
