I’ve been tracking my calories for years now, so here are some calorie tracking tips PART 9 ⚖️
FOOD SCALES
This is a must if you’re trying to track your calories accurately.
There’s only so much you can track without using a scale.
If you’re wondering why you’re not losing weight or you’re not gaining weight while tracking calories, and you’re not using a food scale, then this is probably why.
Weighing your food and hitting the same amount of calories every single day is important if you want to optimise your progress.
For example, if you’re trying to gain weight while putting on the least amount of body fat as possible and you’re eating the same amount of calories every single day but you’re weight isn’t going up. All you need to do is slightly increase those calories.
But if you’re guessing the amount of calories in all the foods you’re eating, your calories are most likely going to be off by a minimum of at least 100-200 calories.
So therefore, your weight is going to fluctuate a lot which would make it really hard to optimise that progress and make a firm decision on whether you need to raise or lower your daily caloric intake.
