SOUTHWEST SALAD RECIPE

Southwest salad is a very popular healthy salad within western countries and very easy to make at home. Even popular stores like Mac. Donanlds and all Mexican restaurants have this popular item on their menu This is one of the healthy salad with lot of green vegetables and beans with protein. Depending on choice, we can have it with chicken, shrimp, stake or without no animal protein.
People take this salad either during lunch or dinner. It’s healthy and filling too….

Ingredients:
– Red Kidney beans
– Black beans
– Chickpeas
– Corn (we have not used it but you can add corn as well)
– Bell pepper (Green/Yellow/Red)
– Tomato
– Onion
– Coriander
– Cucumber
– Avocado slices
– Shredded Cheese
– Black Slat/Salt
– Chat Masala (We have used Badsha Chat Masala, but you can use other brands too). It adds up the flavor.
– Protein (Shrimp/grilled chicken/Stake etc… ) – for Non-vegetarian

Pre Process:
– Soak chickpeas, red kidney beans, black beans over night for 12 hrs
– next day, boil soaked beans in cooker or instapot etc…
– Boil it perfect so that you do not melt the beans
