Kanda Poha – Breakfast – Easy and Authentic!

The most popular dish of Maharashtra and Mumbai, also now famous all over India. Made of flattened rice (poha) is a light breakfast recipe for all those health conscious people as well. It’s very simple and easy to make.
Poha Recipie
Raw Poha – 1 Cup
Onion – 1
Tomato – 1
Green peas – 1 cup
mustard seeds, cummins
fresh coriander leaves
Wash poha 3-4 times, drain water and keep aside covered.
Heat oil in a pan, add mustard seeds, cummins till crackles.
Add Onions, cook for a minute.
Add green peas, cover the lid and cook for 2 minutes on low flame.
Add tomatoes, salt and cover the lid and cook for 2-3 minutes.
Add haldi, coriander powder and garam masala and fresh coriander leaves.
Add soaked poha and mix well and add some lemon juice to the khichdi.
Cover again and cook for a minute on a low flame.
Garnish with lemon and serve hot.
