To Make Lauki Paratha

Bottle Gourd – 1 No.
Wheat Flour – 2 Cups
Green Chilli – 2 Nos
A Piece Of Ginger
Salt – 1 Tsp
Turmeric Powder – 1/4 Tsp
Chilli Powder – 1 1/2 Tsp
Coriander Powder – 1 1/2 Tsp
Cumin Powder – 1 Tsp
Amchur Powder – 1 1/2 Tsp
Garam Masala – 1 Tsp
Ajwain – 1/4 Tsp ( Optional )
Kasuri Methi – 1 Tbsp
Coriander Leaves – 1 Tbsp
Oil
Ghee

Method:

1. Wash and clean the bottle gourd. Peel of the skin and grate the vegetable.
2. Take the grated bottle gourd in a wide bowl.
3. Add chopped green chilli, ginger, salt, turmeric powder, red chilli powder, coriander powder, cumin powder, amchur powder, garam masala powder, crushed ajwain seeds, kasuri methi and coriander leaves.
4. Add wheat flour to the ingredients and no water at all because the moisture from bottle gourd is enough.
5. Mix all the ingredients well and add some oil.
6. Prepare the dough, dust some flour and make small balls out of it.
7. Roll the dough balls into rotis and cook them on a tawa with some ghee on both sides.
8. Yummy Lauki Parathas are ready to be served hot and nice with any side dish of your choice.
