HEALTHY SALAD DRESSING RECIPES
CILANTRO LIME GINGER DRESSING:
1/2 cup chopped cilantro
1/2 cup fresh lime juice
1 tbsp fresh grated ginger
1/2 cup chopped green onion
2-3 tbsp honey
1/2 cup avocado oil (or any heart healthy neutral tasting oil)
salt+pepper to taste
half a medium size jalapeno pepper or 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper(optional)
BALSAMIC VINAIGRETTE
3 tbsp balsamic vinegar
3 tbsp red wine vinegar
1 1/2 tbsp Dijon mustard
1/2 cup extra virgin olive oil
2-3 tbsp honey
2 garlic cloves minced
1-2 tsp freshly chopped parsley
salt and pepper to taste
LEMON VINAIGRETTE
1/4 cup lemon juice
1/2 cup extra virgin olive oil
2 tbsp honey
2 garlic cloves minced
1/2 tsp lemon zest
1 tsp chopped fresh cilantro
salt+pepper to taste
CASHEW RANCH DIP/DRESSING
1 cup raw natural soaked cashews
half a medium red bell pepper
juice of 1 fresh lemon
2 garlic cloves
1/2 cup cilantro or parsley
3/4 cup water for dip consistency(1 cup water for dressing or as desired)
1/2 tsp cayenne pepper(optional)
salt and pepper to taste
